The Original Adaptimax
Extremely high in quality. The Adaptimax is CNC milled from high grade aluminium, before being anodised. It is then fitted out with an extremely hard wearing brass Nikon mount which is then chrome plated for even longer durability. Unlike our imitators who use an aluminium mount which quickly shows signs of wear, our brass bayonet is built to last.
The Adaptimax gives a magnification factor of X5.4, which makes these adaptors perfect for shooting wildlife or macro. You can now get the shots that are impossible with the stock Sony PMW-EX3 lens. Fit on a 80-200 2.8, or 300mm F4 Nikon lens on the camera and the results will astound you.
Sigma and Tamron lenses will also work perfectly well, as long as they have external aperture rings. If your lens is the newer DX or G series, with no external aperture, you need to order the Adaptimax Plus.
If you already own or are going to purchase DX or G Series Nikon lenses,(the newer Nikon lenses with no external aperture ring) you should purchase the Adaptimax Plus. The Original Adaptimax cannot operate the shutter of DX and G Series Nikon lenses. If your lenses do not have an external aperture ring, you will require the Adaptimax Plus
