XLIDERCAM PRO is an innovative automatic rotation system that keeps the camera focused on the subject as we move! XLIDERCAM PRO define the starting shot and the final shot and automatically extrapolate the spindle between the two shots smoothly. We call it SYSTEM WIDE.
When designing the XLIDERCAM PRO we have taken in consideration all the details that are missing in most sliders on the market, details that are usually seen only when it is too late to return it back! Those who already have a slider probably know what we are saying, but for those who do not have one yet we will explain the main differences
Placement: The first problem a user will found with most sliders is that they do not always have a flat floor or a flat surface to put the slider on, so it remains unstable which makes it very hard to work with, so you need to use weights or sand bags to install the slider. This waste of time is not always available, specially in social events.
Solution: With the XLIDERCAM PRO you just have to hold the rail with one hand, loosen the legs and tighten them, as simple as that ! They alone seek proper settlement in the ground. They also include some special legs to be placed, for example, on the hood of a car without slipping or scratching the paint. Of course, we can also place the XLIDERCAM PRO on a tripod or monopod, as the attachement are standard with all tripods and you can attach it in the center, end and vertical.
Smoothness: Another good surprise when testing the XLIDERCAM is that when you put the weight of your camera, the slider will brake avoiding any unwanted movement .. Usually with other sliders the more the camera weighs the harder it is to slide it and that affects to the uniformity of the movement .
Solution: The XLIDERCAM shifters use a hybrid system that combines the classic shifter maintenance free interior with a wheel that prevents that the weight of the camera will affect the movement allowing such a smooth glide of the camera that it can be moved with a single finger.
HEAVY DUTY TRACK: Did you noticed on other sliders Demo Videos how the Demo person holds the slider from the side where the camera is moving ? Well, it is not to show how the sliders bend with the weight of the camera. Most sliders will bend as the 3 kilos cameras is passing by as they are using tracks available on the markert that they use to build their sliders! A few sliders will support the weight without bending.
Solution: With XLIDERCAM PRO we have avoided to have market tracks and we use our own made " Heavy Duty" track which is extremely resistant and that will avoid bending when the camera passes by.
Brake: Who has not caught his fingers as he placed the slider or who has not struck a blow to the camera by tilting the track without realizing it?
Solution: Our system has a brake as standard which will avoid any harm to your fingers or the camera
SUMMARY OF FEATURES:
Size and weight: 1016 x 145 (112) x 60 mm and 4 kilos (without feet). Useful travel 900 mm.
Color: Anodized black.
Compatibility: Compatible with any video or photo tripod head (head not included). Note: If the screw head is 3/8 you will need an adapter from 3/8 to 1/4 (not included) you can get it at any camera store for about a couple of euros. We recommend using a cheap photo tripod that will allow a 90º rotation to work vertically. The spindle will rbe performed by XLIDERCAM-PRO so it is not necessary to install expensive video fluid heads.
Location: The XLIDERCAM-PRO can work both horizontally and vertically. It is advisable to have your anchors compatible tripod to change from one position to another, although we can put the legs of the tripod directly in XLIDERCAM. We can place the included adjustable legs on uneven surfaces up to about 20 centimeters, or on a sturdy tripod, or two tripods, or on a tripod and a monopod, even on a tripod and the legs (between the ground and the hood car for example).
Emergency brake: Indispensable to avoid accidents or damage to the car during installation or transport.
Smooth: Its hybrid shifters give very smooth and much despite our video camera. They are also maintenance free, are not affected by dust.
Resistance: The unique profile XLIDERCAM-PRO gives it great resistance to bending. Not distorted even with the weight of the camera on the end!
Panoramic System: XliderCAM-PRO is the only slider on the market that has this great feature! Increases the chances of making surprising levels and with total smoothness, no more manual panning! It consists of a spindle automatic and easy and quick adjustment. Define the position of the plane with the car at one end and re-define the new position of the plane at the other end, moving the car, the camera shot 1 to shot 2 smoothly and evenly! With two quick adjustments define the approximate position of the camera and just fine tune the focus plane. In no more than ten seconds will set the slider to work! We can keep the subject centered while moving the slide or just the opposite, for instance range for panning in a much more precise and smoother way than with manual methods. | |||||||||||||
