With this license installed, Cube™ senses when your RED Digital camera starts and stops recording and wirelessly creates identical, H.264 files on a computer on your wireless network, in real time. The files has the same exact filename as the original file on the internal media, with the same timecode and start and stop files, but is immediately available for instant playback via iPad, or for offline editing in an NLE. Compatible with HD-SDI Encoder models only. License is for Proxy Recording with the RED camera and CUBE 100, 120, and 130.


How Do I Get the License?

If you have purchased a Cube previously, place the Cube serial number in the notes section of your order and we will generate the license activation key and e-mail it to you. We will pre-install the license if your order includes a Cube and a License.

How Do I Install This License?

To install the license, go to System -> Licenses on the Cube's web UI. Paste the license activation key into the "add a new key" field, and click the '+' button.

Once installed, you should see a listing for the proxy recording package. Reboot your system, and on the next load, you should see a recording option under the Video Setup menu.

If the license is pre-installed on your Cube, you will see the Red Proxy Recording option under the Video Setup menu.
