The Basic Package includes Hot Rod Camera’s exclusive Hot Rod PL lens adapter and support system. The Hot Rod PL allows use of PL mount lenses directly on micro 4/3 cameras (e.g. Panasonic Lumix© DMC-GH2/GH1/G1). This is the only purpose built micro 4/3 Rod and Tripod support system in the world. Every part of the Hot Rod PL is designed specifically to work with the Panasonic GH2/GH1/G1 cameras as well as Panasonic GF-series cameras and Olympus micro 4/3 cameras.

The Hot Rod PL allows clear access to the battery compartment, and all i/o ports. This means you don’t have to remove the camera from the Hot Rod PL, tripod, Steadicam (or anywhere else you can mount the camera) to change the battery, SD card or attach a playback monitor. All milled aviation-grade steel and aluminum construction. The Hot Rod PL will safely and securely support cine lenses and accessories up to 30lbs. Designed and fabricated, in the USA.
