The Hand Held kit is designed to make holding a lightweight HDSLR more like a 35mm motion picture camera. The weight distribution and unique spacing of the grips allows smooth operating and eliminates consumer-cam shake. There is no other product on the market like the Hot Rod Hand Held Kit. Any person of average strength can operate with 35mm prime lenses for long takes without fatigue. The one-piece kit can live on the Hot Rod PL either on a tripod or off. We worked for months getting the ergonomics, strength and balance just right. The intentionally NON-ADJUSTABLE hand grips are spaced correctly with the right amount of offset to balance any camera, lens and accessory combination and to form a rock solid, low center of gravity point to operate smooth hand held shot with an HDSLR.
