While lightweight and easy to carry--thanks to non-slip straps, a waist belt and removable straps, and extra closed-cell foam padding--the BK-2NR is also extremely strong thanks to its rigid frame. Made from corrugated plastic, the frame protects a camcorder up to 12” long.
Other features of the pack that protect your camcorder include two removable 7 x 13” dividers (one of them corrugated), a camera cradle, a PB-SMP small pillow, and a CC stuffer block. Of course, the 1000-denier Cordura exterior provides the same look and strength of other PortaBrace bags. Additional items included with the pack are the PB-B6 pouch, the PB-B9 pouch, awhite balance card, and the CARA-BRNZ carabiner and flashlight combo.
The BK-2NR backpack also features 15 pockets of various shapes and sizes. A padded interior pocket holds a laptop up to 17”, while the side tripod pocket with cinch strap keep your tripod safe and secure. You can also store gear in the two side hook and loop pockets for easy access, or the three side slip pockets, a front hook and loop pocket (with interior slip pocket), or front mesh pockets. The bag also has four clear interior vinyl zipper pockets so you can easily find what you’re looking for.
