The MVH500AH 2-way fluid head with 500LONG quick shoe is lightweight and with a wider platform for HDSLR camera bodies and a sliding shoe capable of balancing interchangeable lens cameras. The ball joint 500 ensures smooth recordings and excellent control of equipment up to 8kg.
Smooth, Engaging Recordings - The Head 500 features professional fluid cartridges on both the pan (horizontal) and tilt (tilt) axes to ensure all camera movements are smooth, controlled, and accurate. Faster, easier and easier to use: the side locking system allows the camera and QR quick shoe to be attached to the head from above, rather than having to align and mount them from the rear. A secondary security lock is not required.
The side locking system also makes it faster and easier to remove the patella chamber from above. The 500 has a preset counterbalance of 2.4kg, but can support equipment up to 8kg.
The 500 has a 3/8 ”Easy Link connector that allows mounting an external monitor or other accessory. The MVH500AH head has a flat-bottom tripod mount for attachment to a hybrid photo / video tripod, traditional photo tripod, or other mounts.
